SHERRY ALIBERTI

Job Captain
(she/they)

Sherry enjoys design as an experiment in merging the hemispheres of the brain. Often never-ending ideas and technical information brew together in the imagination to be captured into a series of very real construction documents.

After architecture school in Brooklyn, Sherry worked on a range of project types and scales for diverse clients in New York City. Until the West Coast called and they moved to Bend, OR where they worked on senior and assisted living communities, considering end-of-life needs.

Sherry believes in using design as a tool to help people and make big change in the world. They have explored concepts of sustainability from all directions, dabbling with radical alternative strategies in the southwest, tiny houses and nomadic lifestyles. Every opportunity to travel is a chance to see how people live and thrive in the built environment. Sherry is passionate about art and creativity as a means of human connection. They loved sharing art experiences and inspiration with artists, kids and underserved communities in NYC and beyond with their performance art collaborative. They believe that there are no boundaries between art and design.
